Hà Nội Photo Fair 2025

Andy Solomon’s Continuum spans 30 years as he reported and then befriended on areas where he’d traveled. He returned many years later, returning copies to them decades later. https://travelasianow.net/andy-soloman-photographer-love-story-vietnam/

Dispatches From the Wet Collodion Frontline: “Day Dreams“, “Itinerant Vendors”, “Wanted” and Boris Zuliani’s newest “Mobile Photography” all part of his Timeless Reflections from his years since 2007 living in Hà Nội, Hội An, and even building a custom studio among the rice fields of Điện Bàn (Quảng Nam).

Daniel Roussel, Gilbert Bertrand [Novice Photag], and Lily Franey

B&W Bold Strokes

Of these I’m particularly fond of 8 shots depicting pensive, laughing, extremely focused individuals in their daily lives. The Cover Woman; captured by Novice Photographer, Gilbert Bertrand in the 1980s, sleep’s majestically. Boys smiling in three different directions at others running to catch a trolley; another waves happily to another out of frame and the last seems to be laughing at someone or something in Roussel’s vicinity. Men rest arms on trolley sill, penetratingly gazing toward Photag; thoughts of…, while others wander as the wonder; expressions galore.

Two of three motor tuk-tuk drivers laugh at something or someone close to Daniel Roussel. You get the feeling he used a zoom, from across the street, perhaps.
